My FH likes New York, New York as a last song...but I want something that has more significance to us or our guests...something very us or that says thanks to our family and friends....but definitely upbeat.
Any ideas?

We used 'Let the sunshine' which went into the 'Summer Wind' from Frank Sinatra. We wanted it to end the way a club would close...it was perfect

i think that one is donna summer actually or some kind of 70's female singer... it's def not the bon jovi one you are thinking of--i think the one she means is like a dance song from the 70s

I know! I want to use the same song. I think I can convince FH. He might roll his eyes a little, but I think he will give in! I love Dirty Dancing. Then he can sing it to me like Johnny sang to Baby at the end of the movie!

We're going with 'Two tickets to Paradise' since we'll be leaving for our HM the next day!! We wanted something a lil different, tho I will have them play NY, NY at some point.
