I was throwing a couple of ideas around for placecards. My original idea was to have small red and green apples and attach a small flag with the guests name and table name on it. It would just be rows of apples. I was also thinking of using these small wood pieces. Obviously this is just a rough draft and my handwriting *****. I'll probably have someone do the writing for me. This table would consist of all three wood pieces.
I don't like it - I'm SORRY !!! I normally wouldn't just say that, but I really don't like it ! Aren't you doing everthing really glammed up ? I don't think it goes..... Maybe i'm thinking of someone else...........

I like it but I think it may be hard to read for some people. I think of my older aunts who can't really read smaller writing. I'm sorry, JMO

What about the apple idea? I saw it in a magazine and loved it. I might also use the small pumpkins and put a small slice in the stem and place the card there. The theme has alot of autumn tones. There will be LOTS of leaves and goards around.

Yes, I'll be using real long island apples. Now the toss up between that is to use the apple alone or make them into caramel apples. But the problem with that is the guest can do what the please with the apple, the caramel apple would be shared per couple (which I dont like that idea). So many ideas......

i would have to agree with the majority. I love the shapes and colors, just not the wood. Can yo do them on some shimmery cardstock?

IMO, and just my opinion ... the simpler the better. Plain, pretty apples with a nice tag.

I think they are a bit dark. Maybe you can print cards and use a photo of a fall background or border...on white paper.
