I was throwing a couple of ideas around for placecards. My original idea was to have small red and green apples and attach a small flag with the guests name and table name on it. It would just be rows of apples. I was also thinking of using these small wood pieces. Obviously this is just a rough draft and my handwriting *****. I'll probably have someone do the writing for me. This table would consist of all three wood pieces.
What do you think?

I agree with the other girls I am not crazy about it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pumpkin or apple idea!!!! ( but the pumpkin is my fav.)

I like them- but I think the writing needs to be really nice- and maybe in a white or cream ink so it really pops.. I think the wood pieces are really different and definitely go with a Fall theme.

Cute idea with the leaves, I was thinking about doing the peach placecards, but I am now going with the wheat grass, you could also do the mini pumpkins with the names of each couple in the slit at the top, or the apples sound adorable.
IMO, and just my opinion ... the simpler the better. Plain, pretty apples with a nice tag.
I agree. . . you are into the glam and I'm just not feelin' the glam with the leaves . . .

I think they are cute actually, but I think Pumpkins would be ADORABLE! Something I would probably always talk about, or Apples as well..more then this. So, I do LIKE them, but the other ideas are much more different and memorable!

Maybe you can attach something like this to a skewer of some type and stick it into a mini pumpkin or apple base . . . maybe with a coordinating ribbon tied around the stems?
I agree with all the above posts - I think using real apples is a really nice idea - it also adds color and originality to the whole placecard thing - try it out with a few apples and post pics - I think it will go over a lot better
