I officially got the worst gift this year - my aunt and uncle are SUPER cheap and its the big joke every year as to who is going to get the cheap gift of the year.
This year my DH and I were blessed
She gave us a mini Christmas tree made out of baby food jars and the jars were stuffed with tinsel and lights so we could plug it in and oh boy.....it lights up.
It is by far the cheesiest gift ever. As a joke I regifted it to my parents - we had a good laugh over it. I'll take your coach keychain anyday..........

I got this from my secret santa at work!! Hmmmm....its only 9.95 and we were supposed to spend between $15-$20!!
My grandmother bought me a mirror set in crystal on this stand type thingy with a drawer in the stand. Just not me but I do appreciate the fact that she thought of me at all at her age

LORI...who is your aunt...my mom makes these awful things...and i think she gave them out as gifts last year!!! lol...
I got the coach apple keychain when i left my school from my cowrokers and I love it...fitting for schools

Um, ok, the worst gift I got was also the CUTEST because JT's niece bought it for me at her school craft fair. It's this UGLY ring that turned my finger green last night She was so cute though, but she also got me a cute pen that says AUNT on it

what the hell am I to do with this crap???
Well you can use it as a safety thing if you are in a dark area (ie: shopping mall) and need a light....I carry something similar with me. Also was told if someone ever came up behind me (ie: mugger or worse) I can jab it in their eye or shine it in their eye and run like hell.
I actually would love something like that. Mine is old and the glass is cracked!

I got a lovely glass carafe for next to my bed from my MIL with the price tag of $6.99 on it. Great gift since I don't drink in my bed nor do I like things like that. And I'm so glad she splurged on my this year.

You girls are too funny. My worst wasnt so bad but I got some aweful looking clothes from my FMIL. We have complete opposite taste if that says anything. I guess its the thought that counts.

The worst I ever got was a box of disgusting ornaments from MIL. One of them had a melted candy cane goober on the side and the other was a regifted ornament that Bob's ex-girfriend (from before me) had given him (complete with personalization - 'To Bob With My Love Always, Love Laurie'). She thought I would like them for my tree?!? This was included with three random taper candles and some fragranced paper to put in my undies drawer. I guess my goodies must be STANKY or something.
The thought that counts, eh??? I know what she was thinking....

Wow and I thought the dinky fountain MIL got me from Oregon was bad. It's in a red bowl, with rocks around the inside, with slate piled up and a little jug on top. It is so not me. You can see plastic from the water pump hanging out. Ugh!

Everyone in my family makes lists so thankfully I always get stuff that I want or need. I'd love to see pics of this baby food jar tree though I KNOW it's the thought that counts, but REALLY!!!
