I have only just begun to look at invitations. How long before your wedding are you ordering/ making your invitations?
I wanted to start looking this week. If I find anything I am going to order. That is if I do end up looking..lol
I think we'll wind up ordering within the next month.
For me, I feel like it's so early to order. Some information may change in the next year such as the time of the church.
Yeah, it may be a little early. I'd say wait until winter. We're getting married in February, so, if we order sometime in the next month, it will be like 6-7 months before the wedding.

I am going to wait. They arent on my top list of things to do right now. I am definatley looking and getting ideas. I will probally buy them in may of 08
Ill probably order them this fall, which will be a year in advance. Im picky so i am starting to at least look now.
I think I am going to wait till sept so its less humid I dont want the envelopes sitting around !!
yea humidity and light and heat kills envelopes and paper does turn when in damp enviroments. I am printing out my invites in the following weeks since the print shop i am at two days a week is slow in July. So i will be around 8-7 months before my date which is REALLY early. I would wait till at least the 6 month marker. I am only rushing since its free and i am not sure how long I am staying here. I am storring my stuff in sealed containers (air and light safe) in a temp controlled enviroment until I assemble in November/December to be sent out in January.
I just ordered a few samples to take a look at. I'm in no rush, but if I find something that I love I will order them early.

my wedding is in Sept, i hope my friend designs them & makes them by March/April *fingers crossed*.
My wedding is in February...I've pretty much picked out my invites (DIY's from cardsandpockets.com) I just have to get around to ordering them, designing them and putting them together. I'll probably do that around Late-August into September to be sent out in Late-December.

My wedding is next June and im doing mine now... well the picking out part at least
i am getting married in January, I already picked out my invites and put money down I just have to go back and finalize all the details before the put the order in. . . and I probably won't be able to go until August!
my wedding is feb of 08. i ordered sample mockup kits from cards and pockets today matter of fact.. since im on vaca for the next 2 months i figured i'd fool aroudn with them a bit.. see if a pocketfold invite is something i can really do on my own..
