Re: When did everybody book...
I did the tasting about a month after I booked, I would try to do the tasting before if possible!

Re: When did everybody book...
We actually did a food tasting the same day we booked, we wanted to see how good the food was. We'll probably do antoher one about 4-6 weeks prior just to make sure the food is JUST as good!

Re: When did everybody book...
That's what I thought. I booked JT back in January and the manager said that I do the food tasting closer to the wedding date. But then FMIL said 'what happens if you're paying all this money and you don't like the food?' Which I have to admit makes sense. I guess I'll call and book one. I hope they don't give me a hard time. Thanks!

Re: When did everybody book...
We didnt book one, but I get a tasting at my nephew's Bar Mitzvah in three weeks. The functions are at the same place. The food, for the most part, will be the same - maybe som different passing trays in the CH. The only major difference will be that certain entrees that cost more to serve won't cost us an upcharge (Chateau Briand and Chilean Sea Bass) because of the season we booked.

Re: When did everybody book...
We had our tasting the same day we walked in and booked.
But trust me, you have NOTHING to worry about at JT as far as the food is concerned!!! It was the deciding factor that made us book there!!!

I had a tasting before I booked. Would you buy a car without test driving it??

We did a tasting before we booked. We wouldn't have booked without doing a tasting first.
