I'm thinking of doing mine the first or second weekend in October? Does that sound about right? I have absoluetly no idea!

Your dress is in already right? I would call them any time then to schedule it. Mine isn't in yet.

I was told about two months before. I don't think there is a specific number of fitting...I guess however many it takes to get it right.

Yes, I am not going to the same place I bought it from though. I will call in about a month I guess...

Wedding date: 9/2/06
First fitting: 7/11/06
Second fitting: 8/1/06
Third fitting- week before wedding.

I had one in June, another in August and one the week of my wedding (possibly).

I had my first fitting about 2 months before the wedding.

Second fitting about 3 weeks before the wedding.

The third one wasn't really a fitting, just a final try on to make sure it was OK before I took it home the week of the wedding.

I want to just try mine on, to make sure it fits. I am so scared that I will get there and it will be tight. . I think you have two to three fittings though. when I ordered my dress she said she would call in september.
