yes it seems to be everyone has to edit themselves when they speak. this is a place for girls to come, get advice about weddings and life in general. I think it should be expected that you're not going to always get the answers you want to hear. So you deal with it and take it for what its worth, or you move on and just carefully figure out what you want to say. I'm one who speaks whats on my mind, i dont hold back (not sure if thats good or not lol) but its life. I enjoy joking around and I dont take offense to much, I brush alot off and its completely ok. I guess everyones different

I never get involved in these types of threads but OMG...what the heck gets people offended anyways... I mean when I ask for honest opinions..like my hair.. I love the girls who throw back at me 'yeah, the front kinda looks messed up..yeah you should wear it like this..' I mean that is what we are here for...to help one another....we dont' need a bunch of yes people.... and as far as the drama with people bragging about rings and this and that... I say you got and you want to flaunt .... good for you... I am seriously happy for each and everyone on these boards and am happy when you girls love your ERings, Dresses..limos..whatever!!

you bring up a good point. If i see a thread has the potential to go sour, 99% of the time, Istay away from it. My balls are huge today, that is why I started my own sour thread, but i wanted to make sure that I put in a disclaimer.
sometimes it's just NOT worth it.

no, i started a thread about what people wear to weddings and i put a disclaimer at the bottom so that i didn't offend anyone and then kelly started this thread asking why we need to put diclaimers on a public forum. no drama... sorry to disappoint you!

it sux...this board is all about sharing suggestions and opinions..so we shouldn't take offense to things people say. PLUS, we all have to remember...we're not SAYING them..we're typing...so you never know the tone of things...everyone should relax..no one is here to judge.
