When did or will you go for your tasting...........

I was told that thsi would happen a month before.. Is this enough time to make the menus?

we did ours last month (Feb) for a July wedding. Land's End has alot of summer wedding though - so they need to spread them out.

We had our tasting about 2 months after we booked. Our parents were concerned for some reason, so we did it early.

We asked for a tasting with Crest Hollow, and they didn't want to do it! They said if there's something specific we wanted to try, they could work something out, but that otherwise, they don't do that. Bummer. Fiance & I were hoping for a free lunch.

I dont understand why you would go for a tasting after you book?

We did ours before.

What if you don't like the food. This is so weird to me.

I know the food is good because I have been to many weddings here, I guess I am just worried about having the menus done in time.... Should I see if I can have it earlier?

Not all places will do tastings before booking.

I did mine at the end of November. Since 8 of us were allowed to go, we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. i'd say the sooner you do it the better

honestly, even if the food at our hall was average that would not have been a deal breaker for us since we absolutey loved the place!! although we would have definitely said something to our BM and we would not have been thrilled about it.

but I have to say, the food was outstanding at our tasting and the wedding!!

i did my tasting last week for a july wedding. they said to do it one month before the wedding, but i did it early, b/c FH will not be in town one month before.

Crest Hollow does not do tastings. But I can tell you that the food there is delicious and the cocktail hour is always amazing.
