We tasted before we booked. The food was so good too

ETA: At some places, they let you taste whatever they have prepared. It isn't necessarily items on your menu.

I went for a tasting 1 month after I booked. NRC told us the deposit was 100% refundable if we were not happy with the tasting. Of course, we loved it!

But I looked at Milleridge too and I almost booked there! They let us do a tasting and we didn't end up booking with them.

I'm not chosing my menu with NRC until 3/14 and my wedding is 3/31! But I checked with my vendor who is printing my menues and she told me it was plenty of time as long as I'm available to approve the sample.

I thought halls don't do tastings anymore.. I have a bridal show at WB in 2 weeks and all they do is pass out samples of what they would have at cocktail hour.. I'm a little annoyed about it all to be honest

We're having our tasting 1 1/2 before the wedding. They bring out everything from the menu and you make your menu selections at that time.

You should ask if you hall provides menus - I know some do. If not, it will not take well under a month to create and print menus.
