Any nice places with reasonable prices in the Babylon area?

wedding 9/28
booked rehearsal in April.

Depends on where you book.

When we booked at our place (very popular in NYC) we needed a friend to help us get a reservation even 2 months ago! But our RD is on a Friday night so that made it even more important we book early.

But if your RD is on a weekday, most places aren't that busy. I know many brides wait until the month before the wedding.

My future MIL booked our rehearsal dinner (which is on a Thursday night) about 3 months prior to the date.

KEEP IN MIND that many places will not allow you to book their restaurant on a Friday night, because that is their busy night and they could make more money if they don't have a party there. We ran into this problem at sooo many places. Some places doubled their prices for a Friday night....so be careful and good luck to you! :)

Ours was booked about a month and a half before the date. We didnt have a problem because ours is on a Thursday night

We have been running into the same problem with Friday nights....no one wants to focus their Friday night business on a party. But we just booked the Wantagh Inn for our 12/27 rehearsal dinner. It is $30 per person, including tip, gratuity, full meal, beer, wine and soda.

We booked ours a year in advance. I know it sounds crazy, but since it is on a Friday night we only could use restaurants that have private rooms and we didn't want to be limited in case places started to book up.

My brother just booked his about 1-2 weeks ago and the rehearsal dinner is August 8th.

My wedding is Oct. 26 and I haven't thought about it. I haven't had my planning meeting with the church so I have no clue when they are available to even have a rehearsal dinner. I know some churches only do them on certain nights. I called the other day and they said all that gets dicsussed about a month before the wedding!
