OK, I just called the bridal salon because they told me the dress would take 8 months and it has been that long - they told me it SHOULD BE IN by the end of March. Umm, I am getting married in May!! :
And it SHOULD BE IN within 6 weeks of my wedding!!! I am totally freaking out that I will not have enough time for alterations or that the dress will be all wrong and I will have no time to fix it!
Am I completely overreacting? (It would not be the first time). Thanks!

8 months is a long time, did they say why it was taking so long to come in- you should ask them... and see if they could put a rush on it. My dress was estimated to come in, in 5 months. Lets wait and see.. Were did you get your dress?

I wouldn't be freaking yet- I know someone that had their dress come in weeks before the wedding and everything worked out - I would just call again and have them check and call the vendor to make sure everythings is ok. Tell them you want them ato call and see what the hold up is...see what they say. Just so you could put your mind at ease...

Don't worry!! My dress is taking 8 months to come in...you will have plenty of time ..think of the bright side you alterations will be done closer to the wedding date (big deal you go to get it fitted a few times before the wedding)

I was given three months and now three months later I still have no dress. I will give them till the end of this month and then go crazy
