I have a great tolerance, so I would love an mamosa with breakfast/getting dressed.
then in limo with FH champagne, cocktail hour a slow pace of JACK & diet coke
We drank our entrire e-party and still gave speakes and talked to all ouor guests fine.

I replied cocktail hour, but it was actually champagne in the limo on the way to pictures/Lands End.

We were at Lands End hours before the official cocktail hour started, and in that time they gave us and the bridal party our own private party.

I think that when I'm getting ready I will at least have a glass of wine just to calm the nerves. Then probably the cocktail hour is when I will finally relax and throw a few back...

I will have a toast in the limo with FH, but i will wait until the reception and definitely after the pictures we will pose for.

I got ready at the hall before the ceremony and my sister and I got there had a nice lunch and started drinking champagne then. Just enough to get rid of the nervousness : )

usuk--that is hysterical what you wrote about starting to drink today and not stopping until february.

i will probably have a glass of wine while getting ready and then a little drink in the limo and then more during the cocktail hour.

I won't start untill the reception. I tend to get queasy when I drink and god forbid.........

I will be taking sips of champagne all day or so, but not doing shots or anything. I will try to convince my FH not to go heavy on doing shots with his friends(its the tradition), because after the wedding I want him awake to start the honeymoon, yeah baby!

Also girls, alcohol flushes your face and your make up will not last all night.

I thought I'd be drinking right when I started getting ready, but because of my nerves I felt like I was going to throw up all night... So it was no drinks for me....

I thought I would've had more to drink, but I was so 'high' on excitement I didn't need any alcohol! I surprised myself! hehe!

I had 1 beer when I arrived at Fox Hollow and had one vodka/cranberry during the reception (which I dont' even think I finished)

I don't know yet, that's a tough one!!! I am the type that loves a drink or two to get the evening started. But I am also the type to probably continue all night (forgetting that it is my own party this time!) The only thing I am worried about is a queasy stomach that day and my drinking causing way too many frequent trips to the bathroom!!! I want to be able to enjoy myself!!!
