I voted cocktail hour. Well, maybe a few sips of wine in the limo after. But I have to make sure I don't drink too much or too fast. I don't want to get sick or pass out on my wedding day.

I know I will be very nervous so I hope that my dad has a drink waiting for me when I come home from getting my hair done!

Cocktail hour, after we've taken pics. Don't want anyone to stumble their way through the ceremony or the pics afterward.

Knowing my girls, and my NERVES, I'm starting with Mamosas, while getting my hair done.. I don't want to start too early, because then i'll either get tired, or drunk... don't want either too early.. I have to last all Night..

Hmm.. I think a champagne toast with my new hubby in the limo on the way to taking pictures sounds just about right to me :)

Well I am actually a little nervous when it comes to this subject. We are taking a party bus out to out reception hall for pictures right after church and I am hoping hubby & bridal party (well...groomsmen) behave themselves before the pictures.

I don't think I will have a drink until pictures are over.

Then drinks galore!!!!!

Our guests started drinking during our cocktail hour. DH and I didn't drink until we were introduced and after our first dance when we sat at our sweetheart table.

Our hall has a champagne invite before the ceremony, so I'm sure someone will be responsible for making sure I've had a sip or two of the bubbly. I may not want it, but I'll decide that when the time comes.

Just a word of warning for the girls drinking Mimosas...make sure you eat something before drinking those. The orange juice alone could do a real number on your stomach, especially if you're already nervous and your stomach is in knots.

I got married at my hall, so my bridal room was well stocked with food and drinks. I had some champagne after I got dressed and was waiting for everyone else to get ready. I stopped soon after as it made me need to visit the ladies room and it was such a production to go to the bathroom with a ball gown on. So I didn't have anymore alcohol until after the ceremony!

We don't plan on 'drinking' that day. We probably will have a toast alone after the ceremony in the limo and will have a drink here and there but we do not plan on getting even nearly intoxicated.

I think it is tacky and dissrespectful when the guys drink outside of the church.

I will probably have a tiny bit of wine or something just before the ceremony to relax me a little. Then I probably won't drink again until at least the CH (except for maybe a little champagne toast in the limo after the ceremony) . I HAVE to eat first or anything I drink will go straight to my head.

i said cocktail hour but i will have a mimosa or two will getting ready. I will make sure i do eat in the morning... but I plan on having a few cocktails during my cocktail hour.. slow pace... hopefully....
