Typically they say you should book your HM 6-9 months before your wedding date. Our wedding is August and we JUST booked ours but at least it's done!

My wedding is in August, and I just booked the hotel yesterday. I think I'm a bit behind on honeymoon planning, but that's probably because I thought I could plan the whole wedding in nine months!

we just did ours last week so about 2 months before the wedding hahaha...but when we looked at rates for europe months ago, they didnt even have the rates yet

Book it as soon as possible. You'll probably get better deals in advanced rather than wait when everyone else is, and they'll raise the price.

Doesn't hurt to book as soon as you can.

i would think about it soon. i booked mine in stages, the cruise first, then the flight, and i still haven't booked the hotels for italy. the flight was important to me b/c i wanted business class so as soon as a saw a decent rate i booked it.

depends on where you want to go, i think
