After you put a deposit down, when are you supposed to have all the details completed with your florist?
We have made an appointment to discuss what we want next week. I was just wondering when you girls saw the different designs of the flowers and decided on your final centerpiece.

Re: When do you decide on the final floral design?
I believe this would vary by florist and your particular requirements.
My florist told me a date that I should be back in contact with him. Yours would do the same.

Re: When do you decide on the final floral design?
heheheheh We decided (who am I kidding, I decided...) what the floral design would be before scheduling the appointments
What a nightmare I must be to some vendors....
I then made appts, spoke of 'my vision' and listened to their suggestions / interpretations.
My advice? Look at the knot.... they have hundreds of pics. Get an idea of what you want, bring the pics with you, and show it to them. Then see what they have to say about how practical/expensive those ideas are.....
Then, get estimates, and book one. Sugar Magnolias sent a rather explicit estimate to us describing exactly what flowers would be in each arrangement, and how it would be presented, and where it would be delivered and set-up. So, in one weekend, it's basically all set for us! (We're allowed to make changes until 3 weeks before the big day). hope this helps....

Re: When do you decide on the final floral design?
my florist said call about a month before with final numbers of bo-k's etc. if there were changes.... also gives her time to see what flowers are available (most florists buy in bulk once a week) and to give her a time if she can't find something or sees something that i might want to add, etc. etc.
