When do you meet with your RH? What do you go over?

When do you meet with your RH? What do you go over?

Other than when we visited and originally booked our venue. We have not been back to meet with them. I just called and made an appt. for about 1 month before the wedding. Is this a good time frame? What do we go over at that time?

Any suggestions as to what to ask/cover?

I think 1 month is fine but if it bothers you set something up a few weeks earlier because it can hurt. I did mine really early around 6 months because I just wanted to get it done but they just ask you menu choices and other specifics.

Did you do a tasting? If not, you'll want to do one and then confirm the menu selections.

Also, go over:
- seating chart
-when final headcount and payment are due
-how to handle gratuities
-day of contact info and timeline
-details about anything you are bringing into the hall (toasting glasses, card box, bathroom baskets, etc.) ask them when to drop those off and any guidelines (e.g. should the place cards be alphabetized)

I would also ask them to take you through the day start to finish and try to imagine what it will be like so if you have any questions you can ask them then
