When do you register for shower?

I got engaged on 5/24/13 and getting married on 5/24/15. My mom and sisters are keeping my shower a surprise, but I am guessing @reb/april. March is a super busy month for us. When should I register?

I did my registry on Sunday and I think my bridal shower is in March. I so obsessed with looking at my registry and I'm constantly adding and deleting things. I can't help it I want everything lol.

We registered in July because people kept asking us for ideas for engagement gifts. Even though I know my shower isn't going to be until summer/early fall next year I am still obsessed with looking at it and adding/deleting things! We registered at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond. Macys was such a fun experience!

My bride and I went yesterday and our wedding is NEXT October! We just did dinnerware and bedding. We are going to go back and do more whenever we get excited and feel like going because it is SO overwhelming to do all in one day! Good luck and have fun!!! Do a little at a time- that way you aren't so overwhelmed and then you can add/delete online whatever you want :D

FH and i went Saturday. We went to the BBB in OCeanside and Stacey was SO helpful. we did most of it. We still have to do Bedding and towels and I'm going to go to Macy's with my mom for china. I heard something about Macy's having registry events so we might wait for that

I say it's never too early to register, that way if anyone wants to use it, it's set up already. You just have to make sure to check it every once in a while to make sure nothing you registered for is dicontinued, etc. and keep it updated!

Macy's was fantastic! We went on a Friday night ago Roosevelt Field and they were so attentive. We met with Rebecca. She was great bc she was real. She told us what to use Macy's for to register and what times are better elsewhere. They give you a TON of coupons and also if you have a Macy's charge (if not, you can open one), you get cash back on your registry when people buy gifts off of it. They also put their china on sale a few times a year: BOGO free. We already have 4 sets purchased for is because of the sale.

We registered around a year out at Bed Bath and Beyond, and what's great is we've been getting gifts off it for random holidays, birthdays, engagement party etc.
