we start (my family and i) put up the tree (a fake one) the day after thanksgiving. we LOVE christmas. haha, my mom wanted to put up the tree last weekend, my dad refused. LOL. but ive seen some houses already decorated! have you been to the malls, they've been decorated for awhile now.

We are starting a family tradition with FH's brothers to go and cut down our own tree. FSIL has dubbed it the Annual S------S Family Xmas Tree Massacre. We are going the first weekend in December so I am assuming that FH and I will start our decorating that weekend.

We usually wait until the 2nd or so week in December, but since we are getting married this holiday season, my parents are starting early so it's one less thing to worry about. They will be starting the weekend after Thanksgiving.

my bday is dec 5th, so it was always a rule in my house (made by my parents not me lol) that we cant decorate until after my bday bc they didnt want to take away from my bday, it makes my sound like a spoiled brat, but i so am not!!! lol, but i kind of like that rule still so im taking the rule with me!

Usually, we wait until the first week of December, but my family is doing it Thanksgiving weekend so I can exchange presents with them before I leave for Sweden.

Usually we decorate the weekend before my birthday (Dec 17th). It the unofficial rule that my parents set when I was a kid...and it rubbed off on FH lol

we start decorating the day after thanksgiving, well the inside anyways.. we decorate the outside the first day that its not raining, or bitterly cold!
