When he asked, what did you say?

Today is the anniversary of when DH proposed to me. I won't say WHAT anniversary it is because it's been awhile.

I know we all said 'YES' but I want to know what were the actual words that came out of your mouth?

DH proposed to me at Disney World and actually managed to surprise me. It took me awhile to say 'yes' because what first came out of my mouth was 'I thought you'd never ask!'

What did you say when FH/DH popped the question?

I just started crying and nodding lol

He never actually asked the question 'Will you marry me?' He was talking, and then the ring was out, and then it was on my finger, but we kind of skipped the ask-and-answer portion lol.

We had been talking about getting married and I knew he had the ring (he let me pick it out and I went with him when he bought it for sizing) so I knew it was coming at some point.

When he proposed though, we were out at montauk under the meteor shower and he was saying 'yeah... if we do actually get married on Dec. 13, 2014 that'd be cool bc there will definitely be a meteor shower... and wouldn't it be cool to say there was a meteor shower on our wedding night just like the night we got engaged?' And I looked at him and I said 'stop it.' and he just kept going 'yeah.... I think it'd be really cool also to get engaged on the same night we get married...' and I was like 'Are you serious??'


and then instead of saying 'Will you marry me??' he held up my ring and said 'SOOOOOO I have this ring... do you want it? Because it won't fit my finger'


Thats when I started crying :)

FH proposed to me at Disney world too! We were on the bridge that connects the Beach Club and the boardwalk watching the sunrise and he got down on one knee and when he opened the box the first thing I said was 'omg that ring is gorgeous!' And he said 'is that a yes?!' lol

I said ' omg are you joking!' And closed the box, the opened I it again and sai ' your serious?! This is actually happening right now!?'

*** I had been waiting almost 11 yrs for that proposal so it was def justified:)

I said...'Is this real? Is this happening?' when he was getting down on one knee, then after he asked I said yes...and he closed the ring box and put it back in his pocket! He was so nervous because the ring wasn't sized and he bought a 6, I thought I was a 6.5. Turned out the ring is the perfect size! It was adorable.

Really was what I blurted out.
We went to the wineries and in my mind it was a last minute decision to go. We just got back from vacation the week before and I wanted to stay home and catch up on things. We were there a few hours and towards closing he suggests we take a walk. We were talking and goofing around, he got on one knee and I still had no clue, then I saw the ring on his pinky

he never officially asked, just poped down on one knee and held up the box.
he probably didnt ask because i immediately started crying and hugging him. then he started crying...it was one big mess haha

I said yes before he even asked or had he box open! Lol

are you serious???really?? when did you buy it???with who??lol and then i said yes!! i was so nervous and shocked...the proposal came out of know where had no suspicion whats so ever! Writing about this makes me smile...

He proposed at my job & had this little sign that said 'soon to be her mr.' i said 'are f*cking with me right now?' lol I am such a lady but when he got down on his knew and asked, I said OMG yes!

He proposed to me while we were cruising through Tracy Arm Fjord in Alaska (google it, its amazing) at 7 am. I was a crying mess and once I said yes, I jumped up out of my seat on our balcony and screamed 'I'M ENGAGED!' I couldn't call my family to tell them so SOMEONE had to know =P

I knew the proposal was coming, we talked about it for awhile. He still managed to surprise me on the day of! We spent a night at Oheka. He let me walk into the hotel room first so I took off my coat and when I turned around to say something to him, he was on one knee with the ring box! I really don't know what he said because I kept saying 'OMG you're kidding' throughout his entire proposal 'speech' lol. Then when he finally said 'will you marry me?' I froze and said nothing!! I eventually snapped back to reality and said yes! I'm so smooth lol

Yes, the only thing I could manage to say when he proposed was an expletive. Can't wait to tell the kids this one.

I didn't say anything, I was too shocked to speak! I think I just gasped and started crying a little bit and I hugged him. A half hour later we were walking and he was like, 'You know, you never answered the question.'

My back was to him and when I turned around and he was on his knee getting the ring out, I asked him if he needed help tying his shoe!!! :)

We were in Miami for Valentine's Day and walking outside. He gave me a gift, a bracelet box. The bracelet was beaded letters and then when I untangled it, it spelled out 'marry me.' I started screaming and crying and I looked up and he was on one knee proposing...I cut him off and blurted out 'does my dad know?!?!!!' He said yes...I kept crying...the ring went on my finger...lol....after I realized what happened, I asked him to propose again because I couldn't focus or hear a thing he said the first time LOL!! I think I said yes :) haha

I looked at him and asked if this was real and if the ring was real hahaha... I kept saying thank you to him over and over
