When it rains it pours...

I am just so down and I can't seem to kick this feeling...

1. My younger sister was just diagnosed with a disease that she will have for life.. She is only 18.
It won't kill her but may prevent her from having kids and etc :(

2. My mother has a good chance of having cervical cancer and needs all these surgeries and test.

I just don't know what to do- who to think of first

If you guys can send me good vibes - I would greatly appreciate it

You're right- you can never just get a little bit of bad news, it always hits you all at once. You'll get through this- your mom and sister are lucky they have you to turn to for support.

I hear ya about having an illness that won't necessarily kill you, but seriously screws w your life. It's frustrating and upsetting but somehow you get through it every day.

As for your Mom, stay strong for her and keep her positive. That does just as much good as medicine.

i'm really sorry to hear about this
try to keep positive until you hear the final news about your mom - somtetimes tests are inaccurate and doctors do make mistakes so your mom should definately get a second opinion.

i would advise the same for your sister - and with the medical advances they are having now-a-days - who knows - she may not have any issues at all when she is ready to have a baby - which probably won't be anytime soon.
