I would say a month prior .....that was what we did. Although if you know when and where it will be you can never send it too soon

MIL sent them just before the July 4 holiday for aug 7. But everyone knew before.

Yeah I would just send them bc that way if people are making plans around the wknd they will know. . who cares if they are early. .
