When should I order the FG dress?

She's 5, and the weddings in August! TIA!

I ordered mine already for August from Jordan-Sweet Beginnings. They usually take 4-6 months to come in. Are you ordering from a designer or you could buy off the rack like I have seen some people do. If you are ordering from a bridal salon- you should probably order soon.

Wow, it takes that long?! I wouldn't even know where to go to 'buy off the rack'! So I guess I need to find one now! Thank you!

I would get it 3 months before or less. Children grow fast. I ordered mine online and loved it, plus it was cheap. Details in my review.

I've had mine since July because Davids Bridal was discontinuing the style that I wanted. Make certain that you check the availability. Kids grow quick so you might want to wait until the end of may for an August wedding.

lol that's so funny me too! Even my FH's family knows to spell it with 2 n's now. My FG is 1 and we estimated in July and got her the size 2 because she will be 2 by August but she is small for her age and they will take it in.

Yes, they say kids have random growth spurts, that's why I'm concerned about ordering now. Even some of my BM's are waiting, they are on major diets and don't want to order something huge.

I ordered mine today and I am getting married in Aug. My 2 FG will be 2 in Aug. They just added 2 inches to the measurements and will take it in if needed.

Oh geez, I'm in June and I still haven't taken my FG to get her dress. It's my niece and my Mom says we'll take her next month. She's 6 and seems to get taller everyday, that was our only concern. I'm going to get hers at David's so it shouldn't take too long.

We ordered my FG's dress today for 5-28 wedding from a bridal salon. They thought they would have to rush it, but then they took that back and said we should be okay. We probably did it just in time.
