I have a few things left to do. IAnd I'm making a spreadsheet with a timeline for everything I need to get done. In your opinions when is the best time to do the following:
Book Limos Block Hotel Rooms/Shuttle for Guests Order Invitations Send out Invitations Order MOB Dress Order a bridesmaid dress (just one)

dresses take 12 weeks to order (most )but I would order them 6 mths before your wedding, I blocked out a hotel 9 mths before my wedding invites go out eight-six weeks before your wedding, I have 5 and half mths and still have not order my invites hopefully we will do it next week!

This is when I booked these vendors, it varies by each person. Some people book ahead of time.
Book Limos - booked mine 4 monthsbefore wedding Block Hotel Rooms/Shuttle for Guests - 6 months before wedding Order Invitations - 4 months before wedding Send out Invitations - sending mine out end of August with response date of 10/7 they usually say send out 6 to 8 weeks before the date. We are sending them out early b/c the hotel is only holding the block of rooms until 10/7. Order MOB Dress - 6 months before wedding. At the place we ordered my mom's dress they said the order had to be in 6 months before the wedding. Order a bridesmaid dress (just one) - 6 months before. The place I ordered them from they said the order had to be in 6 months before. I had to order 5 dresses though.

Block the hotel room NOW.
I booked mine and the block in Feb for and October wedding. I sent out e-mails to EVERYONE I knew who need a room and told them to book in Febuary.
Right now with 2 months to go the hotel is completly sold out with 50 people on waiting lists.
Block the rooms now is my strong suggestion.

dont know if you would consider this, but since you only need one bridesmaid dress, you could possibly find something at a non-bridal store, like a department or dress store. that way you wouldnt have to order it and you may save a decent amount of money. good luck!
I would do MOH and BM dresses about six months prior, at the latest. Invites get sent out 2-3 months before the wedding so you should start looking for and ordering them before that. It depends if you are getting them customized or from an invitation company.

Thanks. The one dress is for my sister and I'm pretty much letting her pick out what she wants. My only requirement is that it must be a dress and can't be white. So I will tell her to check out Nordstrom or Bloomingdales.

ohh yayy we're gettin married one day apart at CHCC!
Book Limos-- we just started lookin into limos now, but prolly wont book anything til september...
Block Hotel Rooms/Shuttle for Guests-- we blocked rooms off a while ago at the fox hollow and another (cheaper) hotel nearby...
Order Invitations-- im going to order them towards the end of the year maybe december, just to have em ready to go out..
Send out Invitations-- i think we'll end up sending ours out in february..
Order MOB Dress and Order a bridesmaid dress (just one) -- start lookin now and order em whenever you find the one you like. better to get things done early than to rush around last minute with loose ends to tie..

Order Invitations - depends on where you are getting them from
Send out Invitations - 8 weeks before, with the RSVP date 3 weeks before
Order MOB Dress & Order a bridesmaid dress - as soon as you can. better off to have them waiting at the store then to do a rush order

i did limos early but u can do them a few months prior. BM and MOB dresses I already did. suprisingly they said it would take 6 months to get in and then a month for alterations. (this was at bridal reflections). invitations are diy for me. im sending them out 2.5 months prior with a rsvp of a month prior.

I booked my limos a month ago MOB dress my mom is going in October Bridesmaid dress I went 2wks ago and everyone ordered them Invitations im going in September
