When to do the Hora at the reception?

When to do the Hora at the reception?

Is the Hora usually done right after the first dance? I've only been to two Jewish weddings and can't remember when it was danced.

At the wedding I just attended last weekend at OJC, they called everyone on to the dance floor for the Hora right after the first dance.

I think that is pretty standard, but could be wrong.

We decided to do the hora right as we were introduced. We came in, the hora started, and it was festive and joyous..so much fun! It really got everyone up on the dance floor. We did our 'first dance' a few songs later.

Thanksthat';s what I thought but I wasn't sure. I think we'll do it right after the first dance.
