When to order bridemaid dresses

I am trying to get my girls all together to go shopping for dresses and it is impossible!! My wedding is in November and I probably will not be able to get everyone together until the second week in April. I am starting to freak out that it will not be enough time!!

How far in advance did you all have your girls order their dresses?

We ordered end of October for my June 1st wedding. The dresses should arrive at the end of March.

I suggest you go to a couple of places with some girls and narrow down your choices. When you go, you can ask each salon about the time frame.

They told me I was cutting it close, but we placed the order 5 months in advance. I think you'll be fine.

6 months should be fine. also you wont be ordering over the chinese new year (feb) so that should help!

We ordered a couple of weeks ago. Had to wait for the last BM to get her measurements. I was told we have enough time.

I just ordered mine in February for my october wedding. Really depends on the place. Davids bridal is pretty quick for dresses coming in.

I'm in a wedding in August (mid august) and RK bridal said I should order a dress this month.

When to order bridemaid dresses

I went looking with only my moh. I knew I was going to order from db to keep costs down for my Maids and I feel in love with one of their dresses but chose a couple others. Moh wound up also loving my favorite. We literally had the decision made in 10 minutes. I went back with my cousins and another maid a few weeks later. Two others couldn't make that date and ordered on their own. I felt this was the easiest to do and honestly wasn't stressed in the least.

One thing I learned late in the game... Do what makes your life easier, noteeveryone elses bc if you don't, others take advantage!
