So after a year and a half of being engaged and not really planning very much, lol, FH and I have decided to elope. We are going to go somewhere topical in October of '08 and then have a dinner or brunch when we get back.
However, does this leave enough time for me to order my dress? I have not even looked at all yet! I am in love with a Jim Hjelm dress from the Spring 2008 collection 8801.
I wanted to see:
A. Will I have enough time to order it and get it in for an October wedding; B. Where do they sell Jim Hjelm that you would recommend; C. There is a trunk show at Adrienne's in Islip in early March - is that enough time and has anyone gotten their dresses there?

to be honest...i would check David's Bridal because I'm almost positive some of their new dresses are similar....ya never know...

I would think so . My girlfriend ordered her dress only 5 months or less in advance.. jsut check out with the salon on their time restraints! thats great though Congrats!

You have enough time to order your dress tomorrow I am going with a fend to choose our bridesmaid dresses for her wedding at Adriannes in the city the bridal store is opposite of the bridesmaid store so if you look it up online you should get the info you need

Congrats!!!!! you should try bridal elegance, they gave me a GREAT price on my dress!!! they did pretty good on time too. although i ordered my dress early ......... the BM dresses are cutting it close they should be in by march for my april wedding.........

I know paradise bridal has gotten a lot of bad reviews as of late but I ordered my Jim Hjelm from them and saved around 800 dollars from what another bridal shop was going to charge me!
