Re: When to order veil??

Well my wedding is in Oct. I ordered mine back in August when I ordered my gown. My headpiece is not ready till June but my veil was ready in November. So whenever you ar ready to I'd imagine is perfectly fine just give them 4 months.

I'm getting married in 3.5 months and I haven't ordered mine yet. However, with hair trials coming up, I'm going to start looking so I know exactly what I'm going to look like

my veil is taking a month & a half to come in...you also may want to have it for hair trials...so something to consider..

I am starting to look now (I am getting married in September) and a couple of people I have contacted are starting to get busy!

I wouldn't wait too long...I ordered my veil along with my dress. My dress arrived in early January, but my veil still is not in...I'm getting nervous b/c my first fitting is at the end of the month

Barrons told me it really depends on the detailing on the veil.

Depends on custom or stock. And from whom your getting your veil. Always the sooner the better is prob the best case in these circumstances! My veil is being made in NJ and then shipped to Cali to be dyed and then shipped to me. So it sounds like it's gonna take from 4-8 weeks. And I want to do a hair trial!!! (I'm a little impatient!) So keep all that in mind. HTH

I ordered mine in Dec., but told them I don't want it to come in until March. I did not want it to lay around my apartment since I live with FH.

Depending on where you get it, it can take a couple of weeks or months.
