How far in advance do you buy your wedding band???

we purchased ours way in advance because my FH bought my e-ring when there was a special at kay jewlers... for every 500 he spent he got a coupon for spend $100 get $100 off (good for 6 months) so we went six months later (engaged last dec. bought rings in June) because it was just such a great deal!

but I would say normally 3-6 months in advance?

i just got FH his for xmas as a surprise and he loved it!

i got my ring at elsa's, and they suggested about 6 months before if you are having custom work done. generally, i think 3 months before is OK if it's not custom done, so they can order it and you know it'll be with you on time.

our jeweler told us to come back 2 months before the wedding - my wedding band will be custom made.....i did try on some bands, and figured out what i want, and found out the cost.......

Thanks ladies. I think mine will have to be custome made as well. I'll start thinking about it for April.

fh purchased his already and our jeweler has been finding ones i requested ( and brings them to look at ) so probably soon for mine! Im doing it early so i can pay that baby off in a few months time!

I would say if you're doing custom ones you should give yourself 3+ months (engraving or making your own design) but FH and I bought our rings recently cause we loved them when we saw them.

I got mine already.. I like to be ahead of the game!
FH hasnt gotten his yet.. But we will probably this summer.. Who knows!

I got mine last month for my birthday they are so beautiful I cant stop looking at them.

I purchased his last january because he knew what he wanted. I got mine about 3 months ago because it was harder for me to find the perfect wedding band!

I think you can purchase them whenever you wnat. If you are having specific ones made you need to start looking into someone to do this foro us.. otherwise whenever you want to.. I fgot mine sooner than later bc later on its another expense
