When to start dress shopping?

When to start dress shopping?

I was just curious as to when I should really start looking at dresses? I'm getting married in July of 2005. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm getting married in April 2005 and I'm going to try (I can do it!) to restrain myself until mid January 2004. I know I'll need the time because a)I hate shopping, sort of b)I'm soooo indecisive. So for your July wedding, I would say a good time to start actually trying on dresses is March - April. Remember that as soon as you start, there's a chance you'll order. And you don't want to have too much time (with all the new fashions coming out and what not) to second guess your dress!! Good luck holding out...I'm right there with ya!

Thanks for the link JZNCK! Did you go to the East WInd expo in the beginning of the month? It was alot of fun and GOOD food! Thanks for the advice everyone!

Hey July1505, I went to the one back in August, but I missed half of it.. My freind said she knew how to get there and obviously she forgot cuz, we got LOST.. so we got there 20 min before it ended.. We are however going to the one on November 30.. I think all of us East Wind Brides should meet there.. I'll make a post, and seeif anyone is interested.. Oh yeah,and I'm going to look at dresses tomorrow.. I can't wait.. FInally our time has come..

GOOD LUCK DRESS SHOPPING!!! You must be so excited! Take pics if you can (I saw your earlier post) I can't wait to start too! I didnt know there was an expo in November! Are you at the Inn, Estate or Country Gardens?
