I went with my mom, grandmother, MOH and 2 BM's. It wasn't supposed to be that many, but, 2 BM's wanted to go, and asked the day before, and I figured 2 more people's opinions could only help.

most are strapless so even sexier than halter, i like alot of halter dresses and awww it'll mean alot to your mom

I just went with my mom and it was perfect, great bonding exp for just the two of us!
I bring my mom and moh! maybe ill bring the bms back when i find one!

The first time I went just with my friend, but it didnt seem like REAL wedding gown shopping until I went with my mom.
Also, my friends are likely to say 'that looks nice!' to everything, whereas my mom will say 'that makes your A** look big.' If youre going to take someone, take someone brutally honest! AND bring a camera - b/c you always look different when you see a photo of yourself.
My first visit ( when I found my dress) I had my 4 BM, my mom and FH's mom. I think the more the better. It's so surreal to be trying on dresses that I didn't even notice a HUGE ugly flower on the back. I got really good advice from my crew. It's good to have people with you. As long as they are helpful and not critical in a nasty way.
I went with my mom since she was buying it. I wish I went with a group of my friends or cousins first. I was so frustrated and tried on about 100 gowns before I found mine.
