Our wedding is in 2004 and I have 3 weddings I am invited too for that year all within months of each other.
I have a July 2004 wedding Mine Sept 2004 Brians friend October 2004 (this guy's wedding Brian is in and this guy is in our wedding) December 2004
Did this happen to anyone else???

we got engaged at the end of 2001---in 2002 we had 3 weddings to go to....this year we only have one coming up in July to attend...& ours in September! So far next year we have 5 weddings!! (one of them being my brother's wedding & FH & I are in the bridal party)....i can't wait!!!
i love going to weddings!!!! (i'm happy in a way that this year we didn't have that many...b/c as we all know it gets very expensive!!!!)

I have 6 weddings this year, had 5 last year and 8 the year before. Add in the engagement parties, bridal showers and our own wedding, and it was totally insane!
I thought this was going to be a light year - now I'm hoping for next year. So far, no weddings in 2004.

Luckily for us...in 2002, we had nothing going on except our wedding. 2003 is another story....
We have to go to all functions b/c they are either family or close frieds.

From December 1999 until April a different friend of mine gave birth EACH MONTH... and 2 in February. Then they had the christenings starting in May...I was broke the whole year!!

I had like 6-7 weddings a year for like 3 years straight and then last year was just mine and my brothers. I thought most ofour friends were married and we past that age (26-29) and things would slow down. Wrong.....We have 7 weddings (so far) for this year and not to mention all the babies are starting to come from those past weddings! All good stuff though!

wow we're all very busy with so many fun things
So much going on.
I agree I think its definatly we are at that age where everyone is starting to get married or have children.

We have 7 weddings in 2003! 5 in August (yes, 5!!! FH and I are in 2 of them) 1 in October 1 in November So when we got engaged there was no question if we were going to plan it for this year!! There would be no money left after attending everyone else's!!! So we have ours in 04 and one other wedding planned so far!! I'm sure more will pop up!!

I feel like we are constantly bust with parties like these. You figure for each weding you have 4 parties (engagement, shower, bachelorette and wedding). Especially being in mid-20's I feel everyone is getting ,arried st the same time. Before you know it - it will be baby showers and christenings

YES!!! From 12/02( when I got enaged ) to 7/04( my wedding) I will have 10 weddings including mine.

we had about 5 weddings last year & the year before as well and this year we have about 7 not to mention all the other parties--o well!
