When you registered...

did you go with alist of wehat you wanted or were you given some type of checklist when you went. How long did it take?

The stores give you a checklist to help you out. It usually takes a while to register for your things.Sometimes you may want to go back or add online.

It took us hours & hours, we went back to Fortunoff's 3 times before we were done. Yes the store has a list but you will walk around the whole time & want to scan everything!

The stores usually give you a list to follow with all of the things that you may need. Fortunoffs usually tells you which floor each of the items are on so it's helpful. You definately should not register in one day. IMO! You can also start registering online, or add and delete items online.

LoL.... FH and I just went nuts and scanned everything that we thought we would need.... Don't put a scanner gun in either one of our hands....

My recommendation is to ask for a professional to walk around with you and your FI. We made an appointment with Roberta at Bloomingdales in the city- she was instrumental to us- we were clueless and she walked into every department with us and told us what we would need. She guided us away from sterling silver and toward stainless steel. She told us how many place settings we would need and how to piece everything together..... Also, when we call now to inquire about something- whether a piece was ordered or if there was a duplicate or something, she knows who we are and is an amazing doll!!!
