Hi all, Ok, so I am going to visit two invite places in Huntington tomorrow. I found this traditional invite (engraved) which I really love, but I saw someone else's invite online from Lion in the Sun and thought before ordering let me check out some retail stores too. The online one is from Reeve's Engraving. The quality is great and the prices are amazing for engraved invites. I just am wavering between traditional and thinking maybe I want a modern invite. I am not sure what I want.
This Tuesday I have an appointment with a photographer in the city.
School started again this week and I have so many things left to do for the wedding. I am not sure how I am going to accomplish everything before the wedding. I have classes, finals in May, the BAR EXAM in July and then we get married in August. Ack. One day at a time right?
Oh, I found out that in one of my classes last semester I had the highest grade in the class. Woo hoo.

Welcome. So the photog cancelled on me and rescheduled for next week. humm, he had said when I booked the appointment that he had a shoot tentatively booked and that he might have to reschedule. guess it came through.

Hi All,
Have not written much since I really have not done much.
Have: Reception Hall Church Dress Bridesmaid dresses MOH dresses
I meet with several photographers, videographers, bakers, florist, and DJ's this past few days and now my FH and I are decided who we will hire.
This upcoming weekend we will be attending marriage counseling.
It seems like it all will never get done.

And you're right it does seem to never end, even when I think I'm ahead of schedule there are always other things lurking to be done!! But such is the happy life of brides-to-be!!

I ordered my BM's dresses this week! I cannot believe it, but they will not arrive until May. How long did your girls dresses take to come in? I completely expected my dress would take that long (I ordered my dress a few weeks ago) but I thought that BM dresses only took a month or two, not 4 months.

Great ladies!! Good work. If you have been readind my posts. I cancelled my DJ, In the Mix, this week. I have a meeting Saturday with FM Entertainment and on Sunday with High Voltage and Friday night with DJ Rus....so hopefully one of them will be booked.
Other than that, my next is invitations, cake topper, ordering my butterflies for release and undergarments.

Hey Lisa...I ordered my BM dresses in early december with the expected arrival of Mem. weekend. So yeah...they do typically take that long

Yes, my DF and I made it to the GBO in Manhattan last week. I have a fantastic DF (I bribed him with food to come). It was so crowded. I am glad that you got a good limo rate. We got some quotes, but would like to look at the antique limos b/f we book. It is on the to do list still. We also saw some cool photographers - yes I still need to do that. I just have to find someone whose work I like that is at a price that I can afford.
MJ, thanks for letting me know about the average time for BM dresses. I cannot beleive that it takes that long.
So I did zero wedding related stuff this week, boo. I have a photographer appointment for Tuesday. Since starting school again I feel so overwhelmed.

Well I have booked my photographer, videographer, and limo today.
My FH got really sick yesterday night.
We are not doing the marriage counseling this weekend. I have to see when we will be able to reschedule that.
