Busy week...went to see invites, changed our ceremony site, met with flowers michele, and picking up veil tomorrow...things are starting to pick up. Will be doing the pre cana probably in march.

MJ, Wow, you changed your ceremony cite? What happened? I hope everything is ok.
We met with a photographer today; the price was good and we liked them. I have an appointment with another photog on Tuesday afternoon. We shall see... Today I called this photographer we met at the GBO. OMG, at the GBO he quoted us $4900. I asked him today if he was still honoring that price and he was like, oh no, that does not include books? $4900 FOR JUST MY TIME - Nothing else is included. Ack. um no.
We found wedding bands on the web. I need to figure out who sells Christian Bauer rings in the style that I like. I want a very plain band with a flat edge and comfort fit. For some reason wedding band designers only offer that style with channel set diamonds. I want it without any stones. Who woulda thought it would be that difficult? L

OH- and I met with florist today, got a really good price quote, didn't book right away so now I have to go back there this week but looked at more invites, confused myself even more DEFINATELY have to make a decision by next weekdnd on those.
are going to RK Bridal tomorrow, with mom and Sister (MOH) to FINALLY pick out BM dresses, adn try lots on...
Got the BM Dress for Neen's wedding altered today (went with her for her fitting- same time)
and will finish the card holder THIS WEEK!
I'M SOOOOOOOOOOoo streessed!!!!!!!!!!!

I know there's a few things I missed, which only means that I need to get moving cause stuff is going to pile up…

Please don't worry about the std cards - I sent mine in Dec for my guests, my fiance's guests and his parents guests. I have been on my mom's case since September (when they arrived) to get me her list. Guess what, she still has not done it.
With that said, I am really upset b/c this family on my side (I wanted to invited them - and more importantly wanted the grandfather to sign my marriage certificate as a witness) can no longer come to my wedding b/c his granddaughter is getting married the same day. We told them the date last year - but b/c we never sent out a STD to them they did not remember the date. So now they cannot come. I am so sad and angry at mom mom for this. Now her excuse is that she cannot find her address book. I called my grandma and asked her for her's this way we can send to family. I am doing all this next Wednesday.
Sorry for such a long reply. I am just upset - this all happened this week.

Hey you gys are making me feel like a bump on a log I have not done any wedding stuff Last month and I don't plan on doing anything this month either. I am being Lazy I guess because I have just about everything done except for the little details
I am being Lazy I better get a move on I need invites Favors and ceramony programs those are the only things left major to do.

you guys are making all kind of progress. I booked my hair and makeup trials for the next two weeks...almost solidified my florist and invites...then need to help FH get his tux situation figured out...to be continued!!
And FYI ain't nothing wrong with being LAZY every once in a while!!!

Hi all, How is planning going? My grandma got her dress. It is silver and elegant looking. I also typed all the addresses for my side of the family. I went to my grandma's and used her address book. No, my mom still has not found her address book yet. I aim to have my family STD magnets out by Sunday. As for my parent's friends - well my mom will have to deal with that.
I have a make up artist appointment for Saturday. I have a hair appointment for the 21st and yet another photography appointment for 3/2. (I have not found anyone whose work I like at a price I think is reasonable...sniff)
Oh, we started dance lessons last week. We are taking them in the city at Dance Manhattan. They cost $55/pp for 4 weeks of lessons. So far its been a lot of fun.

YEAH! I thoght our thread was dead! ha ha...
OK- we FINALLY booked florist, picked out flowers, FINALLY picked out the BM Dresses (and can I say, i love them more than MY dress, and want to wear one of them!), had 3 of the 4 BM's order this week (drama with sister not ordering... see other thread) but that should be taken care of on Monday,so BM dress order will be placed, and FINALLY decided on an invite that we LOVE LOVE LOVE! Finished my Cake- Card Holder (see my photo album), and dropped it off at Neens house for her wedding on Saturdday!
We're ordering the Inites TOMORRWO! (YIPPEE) but we STILL need to find an officiant...
I would say we (um, i mean I) made a lot of progress this week!!!! AND that's all during the FIRST term of our Spring Sememster at work

Sue - I am so with you on the multi tasking. While I am in class tomorrow morning I have my DF printing my mom's STD magnet invites that have yet to go out. That reminds me, I should call my mom and ask how the addresses are coming along. (I typed them on Wednesday). Lisa
