Help! I recently got engaged and have just begun the search for the perfect reception hall. We are looking to get married in 2011. I have looked at several places and so far have not been wowed by anything. Can anyone give me any recent reviews on the following places? Food? Decor?
Terrace on the Park Marina Del Rey The Roosevelt Hotel Rainbow Room Leonard's La Dolce Vita
Thanks so much ladies!

Re: Where are all the beautiful reception halls???
I The New Hyde Park Inn..but I'm biased. All of the halls you chose are very different from one another..before deciding on a hall I think you need to think about your wedding style. When you do walk into the right hall for you, you'll KNOW and all will fall into place

We chose Floral Terrace - One Affair at a time - the whole place is catered to you and your guests! Amazing menu, great people and round enclosed dance floor - no outdoor area for pics though - as we are going to Westbury Gardens.
If your in the area take a look!

I live a few blocks from Marina Del Rey. I love the food there. They used to have all my elementary school events like the silent auctions, mother daughter luncheons, etc. Its very nice and the view is GREAT!

Yep I agree it is going through major renovations right now and it is going to be BRAND NEW!!
Each hall is completely different but all depends what you like and how much is the budget
