Where are my WW girls!!

Original post by MrsJuneB2B

Okay, so tonight, I joined Weight Watchers. I thought we could develop a little WW thread, because I don't know about you, but I'd like to know there are other girls on the WW weight loss mission!! Anyone? and How is it going for you?? My wedding's in 112 days, 22 hours, 10 minutes and 11 seconds... I think I joined just in time!!

Re: Where are my WW girls!!

im on it for 8 weeks and ive only lost about 2 lbs....i didnt really stick to it on the weekends so it was definitely not a surprise to me that i didnt lose as mucha s i should have.

but since i started hot yoda, i FEEL like i look better and although i may not have lost a ton of weight I think i should start soon.

I am on WW but its been a disaster. i haven't really been to on points. I really need to start and step it up. An ongoing thread might be a good way to motivate me.

I feel the same way. I know it works because in the past I lost over 20 pounds on WW, but this time around I'm not as motivated. I don't know why. I'd definitely post regularly in an 09 WW thread though!

Re: Where are my WW girls!!

i love the eTools...you can put in your own recipe and see the point value per serving and change ingredients... that's really cool.

so far, as of today, i've done SO much better than i thought i would have. FH is on it with me, and my mom joined too, so having that type of support definitely helps i think. i'm trying to come up with good healthy dinner ideas. does anyone have any good chicken dinner meals/recipes?? or know of a good one online? ...i'm nervous though...all i keep thinking about is, what if when i weigh in, i haven't lost anything?? will that beat me? i almost don't want to know! is that normal??

Do you girls use your weekly points as well? Or only your daily points?

MrsGRod09 Posted:

Re: Where are my WW girls!!

I try use like half of my 35 pts during the week most of these get consumed on the weekend. During the week i just eat my daily amount.

i just stick to my daily points. i use the 35 extra..well not all of them, but some of them on Sundays ... if i did it the other ways, i'd lose control of myself!

Re: Where are my WW girls!!

I joined WW almost a year ago and have lost almost 40 pounds. I have been a lifetime member since the end of August. The program has really changed my whole lifestyle. I need to get better with working out though, I am so on again off again. Some things that have helped me are, getting an popcorn air popper, it is the best snack, very filling and low in points. I LOVE hungrygirl.com. You can sign up for her daily emails and she always has great food ideas and recipes and always gives the point value. Its all faux junk food kind of stuff. It's really awesome! Hmm I would stick with the meetings even when you make lifetime because they are such a help. I wasn't going for awhile and while I still was maintaining I wasn't losing and now I attend meetings and I lose. I think the whole fear of weighing in definitely motivates me to drop the pounds. I hope I was able to help. Good luck ladies with WW, it really works, you just have to commit yourself :)
