Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

My fiancé is a cop and I am SO happy that he is off for Thanksgiving even though he has to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year.

We are going to my aunt's house to eat and then later on we will be stopping by his parents house.

What about everyone else?

Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

We've been doing 2 Thanksgiving dinners since forever.. an early dinner with his family and a normal time dinner with mine. This year, due to some family drama, we're sticking with just dinner with my family.

Happy Turkey Day Ladies!! <3

Re: Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

We are spending Thanksgiving with my family, then will head to his parents and spend the night when them and have a lunch with them on Friday. Somehow we have always stuck to Thanksgiving Day with mine, and the day after with his.

Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

In true Italian fashion my FH's family does lasagna and baked ziti earlier on in the day and then turkey later. So were going to go to his house for the Italian food portion and then traditional dinner at my house. I'm looking forward hopefully this time next year well be able to host in our own house! Happy thanksgiving to everyone!

Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

We are going to my fiancé's cousins house. Skipping thanksgiving with my family this year, normally we do a combined one with his family and mine but that just didn't end up working out this year.

Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is at my place this year! Mainly just hosting for venue purposes. Usually, we are at his parent's house, but it's an interesting situation this year so we're not there this year, maybe next year.

FH's family is Italian, but they haven't done the whole lasagna thing in a while. But they do the antipasti (sharp provolone, pepperoni fresh mozzarella, bread, olives, roasted red peppers, stuffed artichokes.)

I am making the ham and FMIL is doing the turkey. I'm also making the mashed potatoes and a pumpkin cake. I love to bake. It's a small get together this year though, just 7 people.

Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

We are taking our very last chance to not have to run around and split holidays and spending it separately this year. My family is coming to my house, and his is going to his house, so it would be hard to split and we figured why not. We see each other all the time, and once we are married we wont be able to just stick to our own.

Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is the one holiday we have decided to rotate between our families. So this year it's my families turn, and next year it will be FH's. In my (italian) family the only holiday that matters is Xmas Eve, and the same goes for his so it's something we will always have to split. I am dreading it this year since there is a strong possibility we will be going to three houses that day. Ahhhh holidays. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Where are you and your fiancé spending Thanksgiving?

We are going to my brother's house early (like noon!) for 'dinner', around 1:30 and then to his dad's cousins around 5 for dessert. Hate having to split the days and run around, but it is what it is. I would love to suggest the rotating the years thing. Maybe in two years, since next year at this time we will be in FULL ON wedding mode since our wedding is the day after!

We are going by FBIL's. he is so happy to be hosting. Looking forward to it too as this is the first thanksgiving where I did not have to do any cooking. Instead I baked my first cheesecake :)
