We are doing 11 nights in Mayan Riviera

6 at Excellence Riviera Maya
5 at Grand Palladium Royal Suites

I think it came to $4700 or so before airfare

ugh I am struggling big time with this one!!! I have been agonizing over it for the last week.

As of today I am thinking aruba (all inclusive) and it will be in teh $4K range.

I also explored many sandals locations, but for the upgraded rooms I was looking at over $5k.

Just wanted to post that many travel agencies have a higher rate if you tell them you're going on a HONEYMOON. FH and I booked our last 2 trips to Mexico and we had a Deluxe Suite with the works, stayed 8 days, all inclusive (Moon Palace and Riu in Cabo) and both were under $3k.

Just something to think about. We're just going to book our honeymoon as a vacation and save the extra $$$ for the partying/tours.

we are currently looking into a cruise that leaves out of tahiti. Its 12 days long and visits all the main french poly. islands.
For a balcony suite for two people not including air costs $4400!!! It includes all meals!!! And you can choose private dining if you want...
I am seriously looking into this!
Otherwise my 2nd choice is Hawaii or St. Lucia


Our budget is no more than$6000 and it has to include food!! Wish me luck


edit: for those interested, the cruiseline is Princess. They have hawaii/tahiti cruises too!

St Lucia. Sandals. We are staying at the Grande in the penthouse oceanfront concierge room for 9 nights for $5,752.50. This is not including airfare.

We are also thinking about staying a few nights in Puerto Rico maybe at the El San Juan.
