I know there is some 13ers hanging around. Where are you girls in planning? We have booked our engagement party for July and working on that. We also booked our church and have been on-line looking at reception halls. Hopefully start making appointments Feb/March.

Re: Where are you in planning?
Def. start making appointments because people are looking. All the places I have looked told me they have had people inquire but only a few bookings. I am hoping to make a decision by the end of March. We already went to venetian yacht club and chateau la mer but I think next were going to crest hallow and woodburry cc.

Thanks for the advice! I guess if I have a specific date in mind, rather than a venue, i should be booking earlier. im not as flexible with the date!

If you want that date I would go soon. You never know if you will love the first place or the last place. Good Luck!

Re: Where are you in planning?
So, I plan on going to every place available. I went for my first round today with one of my BM's. I figured it would be helpful to post prices and my thoughts for you girls.
Westbury Manor: The girl who helped us, Natasha was fun and nice. It has ducks and some peacocks and it's very nice there, felt homey. The bar is seperate. It's a restaurant so the food is cooked to order. Valet parking, linens, cake, wedding planning help and other things are included.
There minimum for a Sat PM is 95 people and Sun PM is 90.
Nov: Sat PM: 100pp, SunPM: 76pp Jan/Feb: Sat PM78pp, Sun PM: 65pp April: Sat PM: 99pp, Sun PM: 79pp __________________________________
Crest Hollow Country Club: Opulent. The woman was very nice. They are accomodating and there are many rooms to have your wedding in. Bridal suite is very secure. Valet parking, linens, cake, wedding planning help and other things are included.
Nov: Sat PM: 92.50pp, SunPM: 73pp Jan/Feb: Sat PM73pp, Sun PM: 62pp April: Sat PM: 87pp, Sun PM: 71

Stewart Manor Country Club: One event at a time. Small but cute. Bar is seperate. Linens included. Cake included. Menu cards and valet parking are not included. Woman was very nice though and the room to have the wedding in has a nice fireplace and lighting. They have 100 person minimum.
Nov-April: Sat PM: 85pp, Sun PM: 75pp
Jan-March: 60pp either night or you can do a package that includes vendors for 90pp.

Fox Hollow Country Club: Also beautiful. They provide a complimentary suite at the hotel on the premises literally next door to your RH, and they block out 10 discounted rooms for you as well. My BM and I couldn't see the room because there was an event going on but the pictures are wonderful. They are building a very nice new room that should be done by April. There was another Bride with her FH there and she booked on the SPOT. They are booking FAAAAASSSSTTT, so go check them out ASAP. They have valet parking and all that good stuff as well included in your package.
Nov: Sat PM: 101pp, SunPM: 82pp Jan/Feb: Sat PM 69pp, Sun PM: 59pp April: Sat PM: 99pp, Sun PM: 72

Ariana Waterfalls: One event at a time. Tony was very nice and works to make your event very personal. They have an attentive staff and are hadicap accessible. They have 7 packages and some even include the vendors. You can find them on their website.
I will post a mini review of each place and their prices, if you would like. I hope this helps some of you. Happy planning :)

Re: Where are you in planning?
Wow! Thank you for all the details! That is so helpful to get started! I have an appointment with crest hollow next week. That price is great. Keep the reviews coming . You went to all four today?! I went to my first appt today which was at leonards. My stomach was in knots all day! I was so nervous about it, so I dragged a BM along...

Re: Where are you in planning?
Yeah. I loved Crest Hollow. Crest Hollow and Fox Hollow are my favorites. I haven't announced my BM's officially yet, I'm working their shot glasses. I'm making shot glasses for each girl and attaching a note that says 'Will you take a shot at being my bridesmaid.'
How was Leonard's?
My next group is, Bridgeview Yacht Club, The Riviera, Jericho Terrace and the Coral House.

Thanks :) Leonard's not on my list. I work down the road from them and figured I'd go if you had a rave review for them but otherwise, I'd steer clear.

If anyone is interested in Venetian Yacht Club or Chateau La Mer FM me. I have prices for a Friday in May or Saturday in March. Both places were great.

Re: Where are you in planning?
So I have my last day of looking on Wednesday. I'm going to:
Woodbury Country Club North Ritz Carlyle on the Green Chateu Le Mer Venetian Yacht Club
I called Bridgeview twice and the person I had originally talked to, has yet to call me back those two times. I don't know if I should give up on them or play dumb, pretend I've never talked to anyone and try to find someone else to help me there. I love the pictures of Bridgeview and the reviews are good. AH I don't know what to do girls
