Where are you wearing your veil?

On top of your head or underneath? I was thinking wearing it on top for the ceremony and moving it underneath for the reception - what do you think?

I had it on top for the ceremony and underneath for pics (before ceremony) and the reception. My hair didn't get messed up. You have to be easy with how you put the comb in, but let your hairdresser know what you plan to do and she'll give you some hints. Have someone with steady hands and who's taller than you be in charge of inserting and taking off the veil.
