Where can i buy inexpensive 'pashminas'?

i'm getting married in jan so the BMs need to be covered up but the shawl for the dress costs $95 - and no way am i having them pay that or buying it myself -

since the dress i chose is pricey i was thinking of getting them all shawls or wraps -

tiny problem where do i get them? and 2 - the dress color i chose is celadon - do i get that color or close to it - do i get a nice orange toned one since their bouquets will have mango calla lilies or do i get black and that way they can always use it again?

I doubt i am going to have them take pics outside - and if i do - i'd rather them not be wearing the shawls -

any help would be great

I used smartbargains.com. I think they were $40 and they are really nice Anne Klein pashminas.

I know some girls went to Tri County and some found good ones at Macy's.

If you work in Manhattan all the street vendors have them for about $10

what color do you think i should get? do you think the black would look ok even though the dress is celadon?

I'd go with an ivory maybe for a celadon dreses.

I bought mine at thecashemerecomany.com, but they were a little more money $45, I think. I only have 2 girls though.
I went with pewter for cranberry dresses, b/c matching the cranberries would be too hard.

I am also thingk they woudl jsut wear them whent hey are standig garound outside or if the hall is cold. Not in pictures or down the aisle unless the preist requests it.

I purchased pashminas for the winter from a seller on ebay from Hong Kong last year. They were ten dollars a piece. I bought 6 different colors for myself and 10 as Christmas gifts for co-workers and friends. They were a huge hit. They are soft and warm. They are not heavy fabric like some of them. Thought you might want to check it out. Oh and they were delivered in 4 or 5 days. He uses global express mail. Here is the link.

Ebay Pashminas - quantity of 10

Ebay link to buy just 1 pashmina -$8.99 plus shipping

Hope this helps!

You could try getting a darker shade of celadon.

wow thats a lot - well if it is just for warmth then get the inexpensive shawls - i think black or ivory would be look nice - leaning more towards the ivory

Sounds cheesy, but I bought these copper pashmina's at Target for my Bridal party to go with their dresses..They are not real pashmina of course, but they are great!! They were only $15 each. I had to go to every Target on LI to get 6 though.

PS..I also bought them during the fall..they have a better selection at that time

I think i'd stay away from black ........
If they're just wearing them to have SOMETHING to throw over their shoulders to keep them warm, you can get the ones on the street in the city for about $10 ........
That is a great dress by the way !
