Where can i buy inexpensive 'pashminas'?

i'm getting married in jan so the BMs need to be covered up but the shawl for the dress costs $95 - and no way am i having them pay that or buying it myself -

since the dress i chose is pricey i was thinking of getting them all shawls or wraps -

tiny problem where do i get them? and 2 - the dress color i chose is celadon - do i get that color or close to it - do i get a nice orange toned one since their bouquets will have mango calla lilies or do i get black and that way they can always use it again?

I doubt i am going to have them take pics outside - and if i do - i'd rather them not be wearing the shawls -

any help would be great

i would stick with similar material. depending on where you go and what you get, i think you potentially run the risk of ruining the 'formal look' - that is, a beautiful dress with a 'cheap'/'casual' wrap.

i posted on your other thread that my mom made them for my girlfriend for 20-25 bucks per wrap that would have cost my friend something like $75-80 a pop.

i just went to the garment district in manhattan this weekend and picked up chocolate silk charmuse on sale for $8/yard (other stores had similar material in the $12 range). 2 yards per girl is what we needed, and my FMIL is going to sew them for us...

I got my bridesmaids pashminas from ann taylor. I went on anntaylor.com and I got ivory silk pashminas. I think they were originally $80 and I ended up getting them at $25. I think they also had black. If they are no longer on anntaylor.com try calling
1-800-dialann and just ask if they have any more in stock.
