Where can I get nice wrapping paper and ribbon for cheap?
Or should I say inexpensive....I want nice heavy wrapping (ivory) paper and printed ribbon. Thanks!

Try hallmark stores.
Although that may not be too cheap.

I know during the holidays Peter Andrews had the good heavy duty wrapping paper (big roll for about $6) - but I'm not sure if they'd still have it. As for the ribbon try Patchogue Floral Fantasyland - there selection is unbelievable.

I've had no personal experience with them, but http://www.papermart.com seems to have a good selection at reasonable prices.
I think a lot of people from the boards use them, and this is where I plan to get my wrapping supplies for my favors!

Papermart is good - I got the biggest roll of wrapping paper EVER for $12! They have a nice selection and great prices. I believe they have a minimum order so be sure to get what you need at once, I got burned ordering 2 extra rolls of ribbon - I think I ended up paying $30ish (shhhh - never told DH that )
Partcy city has good prices if you don't want to do mail order.

Another vote for Papermart. I know that Linda's Lovelies also has paper so I'm going to check it out there as well.
Peter Andrews has two locations - one on Jericho Tpke in the Huntington area (a little east of Huntington Town House on the same side of the road) and one in Williston Park on Hillside Ave.
