Where can I stay out towards Montauk..or even Hamptons area?

Where can I stay out towards Montauk..or even Hamptons area?

DH's birthday is coming up and another couple and us are going to Gurney's for the day (spa treatments yay!)

Anyways, they are a total rip off for their room rates, and the rooms (i've been told) are not nice at all.

Any other places to stay?
Problem: Most places are closed down for the winter...
Any B & Bs?

Where I had my wedding is pretty reasonable during the winter... the Southampton Inn... it's right in town, and it costs $179 for sat. night, $139 for sun. night.

we used to get reasonable deals this time of year at the montauk manor. It's great, nice view and everything you need in the suite to cook.

We stayed at the Montauk Manor last Valentine's Day. It's nice--I felt like the rooms were designed more for long-term summer stay with their own kitchen and full-size fridge, but we had a great time. The brunch in their restaurant was great too.

They are nice rooms though, and I've gone for the weekend and we cook dinner and just get away from everyone. I LOVED IT!

I would definitely stay there again! We had a great time looking (though unsuccessfully) for seals at the beach! If DH wasn't such a wuss and whining about being too cold I am convinced I would have found some!

Barons Cove (www.baronscove.com) Is a nice hotel in Sag HArbor (about 25 mins from Gurneys)

Theya re running some sort of special right now, check out their website!!

I used to babysit for people who stayed at Barons Cove, its avery nice place@!
