Where did everyone get there gowns

where did you get your gown and how much were all the extras. Alterations? Bustle? Did you like the service you got?

I bought my gown at Lillettes in Baldwin. My mother bought her wedding dress from them in 1971.

Blanchees Boutique in East Rockaway. Alterations were capped at like $100 I think

They did a beautiful job, they seamstresses were awesome and the owner was always there. It was great. Only one bride at a time for fittings.

Kristin I just wanted to say, you and I will probably meet one day gettign our alterations!!! Seen as we are gettign married the same day! That would be funny!

I got mine at Lillettes, I responded to your other post! But they are wonderful there! The seamstresses are great! I have gotten a few dresses there and always been more than pleased with the work!

I got mine at Burton's Bridal in Huntington...FM me if you want the phone
My dress was 350 cheaper there than Macy's in Manhassat (and that was when my designer was having a trunk show!) and it was 150 cheaper than Lilettes in Baldwin. Alterations at Burtons are I believe 125 for a bussle (but mine is detachable so there is no alteration fee...even for the fixing of everywhere else.
they do great work. I got a bridesmaid dress from them for another wedding and the other girls got them altered other places and they bothered them all day whereas mine did not bother me at all.
Also Iordered my bridesmaid dresses from there in late October and they are already in!!!!
ETA: they saved the bridesmaid $50 on their dresses as compared to Bridal Reflections

I got mine in Valentina's in Brooklyn. I love the service there. If your gown was over $1000, you get free headpiece, alternations, slip and veil. It is totally worth checking them out.

I got my dress at Paradise Bridal in Patchogue
The dress was $600 & it comes with a shawl
The alterations are capped at I believe $175
I think it is $20 per bustle (can't remember!)

I also got my bridesmaid dresses there
They range from $150-$190 ( I have 12 girls in different dresses)
The cap on alterations is $65

I have been very happy with their services so far!
I am going this saturday to try on my ACTUAL dress with my veil, shoes, etc....e

I bought my dress in RK Bridal, the bridal assistant was Gilda. She was a very nice little old lady. The place is pretty big and they carry tons of gowns. My gown was about 770, and alterations I think are capped to be 250. I guess I didn't think to ask abotu the other stuff, I will when I go try on.

Bridal Building in NYC....... I paid about $900 but that includes the veil, shoes, money bag, alterations, shawl, ring pillow, garter.

So far I like the service i've received. Should be going in March for my 1st fitting so we'll see how that turns out.
