Me too and I plan on doing bustle at Shoreham Bridal (I think that's what it's called - it's across the street from my MOH's house). I don't think I need any alterations!

Bonaventure in Garden City...alterations were capped at about $100, can't remember bustle

I got my gown from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset, so far they've been wonderful to work with and I have been a pain in the ASS. I don't remember what I am paying for alt and bustle, but I believe they are capped at 250.

I bought my dress at Macy's bridal salon in manhasset. I've been having some trouble with them in the last month and a half. They were great while I was looking. Once I bought from them, I've been having a few difficulties.

I got my gown at David's Bridal, but I have heard horror stories about their alterations, so I am having my dress altered at Shoreham bridal shop near my home. Don't know about price of alterations yet.

I got my dress from Kleinfelds. They charge a mandatory $400 for alterations no matter what you need done. I know that's a little steep, but since my dress is pretty detailed at least I know they're responsible G*d forbid anything goes wrong.

Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. Rose is great!! The alterations were capped at 350. I don't know how much the bustle is.

I got my dress at David's Bridal (in NJ). I'm having my alterations done there. So far...they were $220, that includes the bustle. But they don't have a cap...everything is a la carte. So...when I go for my 2nd fitting...if I need more alterations...I think they will charge me again.

i got mine from the bridal suite of bayshore...mary ellen is the best. i love it there! so new and classy!
my alterations are going to be 1 something. i dont remmeber the exact number. my dress is an eve of milady and is like 3,000. no bustle, detachable train

Bought my dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. When the dress was going through alterations, first trial had a small stain on the bodice, there was blood left on the back of the gown for the second fitting. The seamstress....., talks over you and tells you how it's ok.. she pricks herself all the time...and not to worry and the General Manager is horribly rude...and filled with accusations. So I removed my gown ,...from that disastrous place....(imo)......and just had it beautifully altered by a lady in Island Park....at Aida's Fashions....for 160.00 and it will be done within a week.

Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and I have a positive opionion on them. I am very happy. JMO, they are so helpful and waited on me hand and foot every time I go there. My dress came in 5 months early and fit perfect!!

For everyone who got their dresses from the Wedding Salon of Manhassett, do they work with your budget? I just came from there and Sania was very nice and let me try on so many dresses. I narrowed it down to four, but a few of them are really expensive. This is the first place I've been to, but my friend just bought her dress from Lillette's for less than half. Can anyone share their experience there?
