Where Did You All Go On Your Honeymoon?

I'm in charge of picking a place to go for my honeymoon :( UGGGH! I'm glad I'm in charge because I'm incredibly picky :D

Where did all you married ladies go? Where did you stay? And would you recommend it? What other tips do you have?

A little about what we are looking for: something not tooooo expensive (we have a wedding to pay for after all ;)), something with warm sandy beaches, some place I've never been before, perhaps an all inclusive, and something for FH to do when he gets bored of sleeping on the beach (which I never tire of but I'll go along with him lol).

We are looking at 2 weeks

We are doing the greek islands for 2 weeks
Athens, mykonos, santorini, and crete. We are beach people but dont want to lay on the beach the entire time. Along with the beach theres plenty of history, culture, nightlife and amazing scenery. It can get costly though with the dollar vs euro exchange rate..

We are going to Ireland for 2 weeks... touring the whole south part staying only at castles!!

We're not really beach people either and we got engaged in Greece so we always said we wanted to go Europe for our honeymoon. We ended up going to Dublin for 5 days and then to Paris for 10 days. It was so amazing and Paris was so romantic! FM me if you'd like anymore info.

I highly recommend Hawaii. I dont like sitting on the beach for hours...and Maui offered so much more than that. Snorkeling cruises, wineries, scenic drives, water sports etc. And there are excellent restaurants and bars.

I'd also look into Fiji. It's supposed to be less than Tahiti. You could do Fiji and Australia. The currency translation is great right now...

we went to aruba and LOVED it! the weather is absolutely perfect and our hotel was fantastic--we stayed at bucuti beach resorts. if you want any info, feel free to FM!
