I am looking for some suggestions as to where in Queens or Long Island I should look for my wedding dress?
So far I have: Macys, The Wedding Salon of Manhasset, the Wedding Plaza and Bridal Reflections (Carle Place vs. Massapequa?)

My dress was ordered from Monica's Bridal in Brooklyn. I have a great experience with them thus far.
The only place I can vouche for in Queens in Alexanda's Boutique on Austin Street in Forest Hills. I didn't personally shop there for a wedding gown but have gone there for a BM dress of my own and we also ordered our BM dresses there and they have been great. I also know a friend of ours ordered her dress there and she had a great experience as well. They don't seem to have a huge selection but it's worth a shot.

Macy's in Herald Square- then they had it sent to Manhassatt for alterations.

David's Bridal in Lake Grove. The girl that helped me was wonderful!! I only went to try on dresses didn't think I would find the dress I LOVE!! & wind up putting a payment on it!

I went to Bridal Reflections in Westbury for my sister's bridesmaid's gowns and we did not have a good experience. The seamstress messed up two gowns plus my mother's dress. Just wanted to let you know. The alterations on my bridesmaids gown alone came to $250!, which is ridiculous! Consequently, it still was not right when I finally picked it up after five fittings!

I went to Priscilla of Boston in NYC as well, but they have a location in Manhasset if that's more convenient.
