I have a Florida Driver's Licence, but live in NY. Does anyone know if this will be a problem?

Re: Where did you go for your marriage license?
Tara...I would just call the Town Hall you are going to before and check it out. I plan on going to the Brookhaven Town Hall and on their website it says all we need is raised seal BC's and license and we can pay cash, I am getting conflicting info from other brides going to other town halls. I am going to just call before we go so I know.

Re: Where did you go for your marriage license?
Tara I used my Massachusetts drivers license and passport to get a New York marriage license. They don't care where you live -- all that matters is that you will be married somewhere in the state of New York. Here is all the info from the Town of Hempstead (where I went to get mine done):

Thanks Valeina. That's a relief! I was moments away from 'panic mode'

Re: Where did you go for your marriage license?
FYI - I don't remember where, but I read somewhere that if you have been married and divorced before that you have to bring the actual divorce paperwork with you as well (not copies). Just in case this pertains to anyone. Again I am not sure, but better to be over prepared than not have all the papers that you may need.Welcome New Vendors
